Major Reno at Allegheny Riverfront Complete

The Upper Promenade of Allegheny Riverfront Park has a new look, thanks to a $5.4 million rehabilitation project by RiverLife, the city, and the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. Improvements include new bluestone pavers and widened pathways, increased tree canopy and landscaping, lighting for better safety, and flexible spaces for events, food trucks, and art installations. 3 Big Names Headline NFL Draft Concert

Pittsburgh-born rapper Wiz Khalifa, local rockstar Bret Michaels, and country star Kane Brown will rock the Draft Theater stage outside of Acrisure Stadium. The concert is free, along with other NFL Draft festivities. Wiz is also slotted for the first show at the new Citizens Live at the Wylie in the Hill District this fall. Pittsburgh Goes to Space (Sort Of)

NASA successfully launched the Artemis II lunar mission this week, using parts developed by Pittsburgh-based robotics company Astrobotic. Penn Brewery Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

Owners insist that the popular Troy Hill brewery and restaurant is not closing, despite filing for bankruptcy protections, and that this move is meant to "restructure and secure a stronger future.” Penn Brewery recently expanded to a seven-day service.
