Local leaders shared their transit plan for the draft, when hundreds of thousands of visitors are expected Downtown and on the North Shore. It includes more light rail service — with the T running every 15 minutes — four special "Football Flyer" bus routes, road and bridge closures, and traffic changes. There will be six phases of road closures; the first starts this weekend on Art Rooney Avenue, West General Robinson Street, and Scotland Avenue. [City Cast Pittsburgh / Visit Pittsburgh]

  • Not the trees! Around 100 trees have been removed near Acrisure Stadium to make way for the NFL Draft stage. Pittsburgh’s Forestry Division says they’ll be planting up to 300 new trees after the draft. [TribLive]
