Steelers Pep Rally Takes Over Downtown
Bring your Terrible Towels to the Steelers pep rally, 12 p.m. at the County Courthouse! County Executive Sara Innamorato is hosting the celebration ahead of tonight’s Wild Card Game against the Houston Texans at Acrisure Stadium. Mayor Corey O’Connor, Steelers legend Brett Keisel, and other special guests will make an appearance. [Allegheny County]

Mayor O’Connor Says He Won’t Assist ICE
After a 37-year-old woman was shot and killed by ICE in Minneapolis last week, Mayor Corey O’Connor reiterated that Pittsburgh will not assist Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations. “We will not do that, and our acting (police) chief is on the same page with us," O'Connor said. [WTAE]

Meta Partners With Beaver Valley Plant
Meta struck a 20-year deal to buy power from Vistra, the parent company of the Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Station. The deal will allow Beaver Valley to generate more electricity, at a time when Big Tech companies are looking for sources to power artificial intelligence and data centers. [Reuters]
Hemingway's Cafe To Close
After more than four decades of business on Forbes Avenue, the popular bar for Pitt students and alumni is closing in May. Redditors are lamenting another loss of an Oakland hangout spot and the rise of chains in the business district. [KDKA / Reddit]

Pittsburgh Mills Loses Another Store
Macy’s plans to close its store at the Frazer mall later this year, along with many more locations nationwide. Meanwhile, the mall’s owners, who are facing millions in fines over road conditions around the shopping center, are quietly looking to sell the property. [TribLive]
