PPS Board Votes Against Closing Schools

School directors voted to not move forward with a plan that would’ve shuttered nine school buildings, closed several others to reopen as new schools, and reconfigured grade structures. The Tuesday night vote follows public pushback at a board meeting on Monday, where more than 80 district parents, students, and staff members testified against the plan. [Post-Gazette]

FBI Investigates Deluzio

The FBI is seeking interviews with six Congressional Democrats, including Western PA’s Chris Deluzio, for sharing a video urging members of the military to not follow illegal orders from the Trump administration.
