PA has a program where people with gambling addictions can ban themselves from casinos, gambling apps, slot machines, fantasy sports, and the lottery — but critics say it’s easy to get around and the penalties don’t incentivize big companies to prevent problem behavior. [Axios Philly]

Find these colorful hanging coffee cups at The Garden Cafe on Chestnut Street in East Allegheny. The charming neighborhood spot is open seven days a week. Stop in for a seasonal latte and baked goods from Driftwood Oven. Have some surplus groceries? Help out your neighbors and take your donations to the community free fridge behind the shop!

Tip: It’s currently pumpkin spice season, but this is one of the few places I’ve seen serve the popular autumn flavor year-round!

☕ Mark your calendar for Pittsburgh Coffee Week, Sept. 29 through Oct. 4. Shops around the city are celebrating with limited-time drink specials and events like a latte art competition, pour over tastings, barista olympics, and more.
