Allegheny County Council is conducting a review of the county's response to last month's severe thunderstorm, which left hundreds of thousands of people without power. 🚧 Lane Restrictions on Parkway East

Heading to the Squirrel Hill Tunnel? Expect outbound lane and shoulder restrictions from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Friday, between the tunnel and Edgewood/Swissvale interchange. Crews are working on a retaining wall outside of the tunnel, as part of a larger project to replace the Commercial Street Bridge. [TribLive]

The Trust for Public Land compared Pittsburgh parks to other major cities in five categories: acreage, access, investment, amenities, and equity. The report found that 94% of Pittsburgh residents live within a 10-minute walk of a park — compared to the national average of 76% for the 100 most populous U.S. cities. Dig into the data.
