🛑 Road Closures Sunday for Cancer Ride
Roads in Hazelwood, Downtown, North Shore, North Side, and South Side will be closed Sunday from 8-11 a.m. for the Rush to Crush Cancer ride. More than 600 riders are expected to participate in the fundraiser for the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. [Rush to Crush Cancer]

💰 Who’s Funding Pgh’s Mayoral Race?
County Controller Corey O’Connor has outraised Mayor Ed Gainey by nearly three-to-one since the start of the year, according to the candidates’ financial reports. Both O’Connor and Gainey have benefited from more than $600,000 in spending from independent groups. [90.5 WESA / PublicSource]

⚖️ County Fires Chief Public Defender
Lena Bryan-Henderson, who was appointed by County Executive Sara Innamorato in 2024, was fired following a monthlong human resources investigation and allegations that she made offensive comments to co-workers. 🚚 Pgh Company Rolls Out Driverless Trucks
Strip District-based Aurora says it just became the first company to put autonomous trucks on public roads, after launching a commercial driverless trucking service in Texas. The Aurora Driver completed its first delivery of frozen pastries between Dallas and Houston. [Axios Pittsburgh]
