What's CITY Talking About?
🏡 Gainey Vows to Fight Housing Discrimination
Mayor Ed Gainey signed two executive orders Friday to protect housing rights in Pittsburgh — rights he says are “under attack by President Trump and his allies.” City-funded housing providers will have to formally pledge to follow Pittsburgh's existing anti-discrimination rules, and they won't be able to turn away people with subsidized housing vouchers. 💊 Opioid Treatment Unit at County Jail
Allegheny County Jail recently opened an in-house opioid treatment unit to provide care for incarcerated individuals with opioid use disorder. It's now able to offer methadone treatment to people who don't already have an active prescription.

🤓 Carnegie Opens Redesigned Digital Lab
The Carnegie Science Center revamped its BNY Fab Lab. The digital fabrication studio offers visitors hands-on experiences with advanced tools, including laser cutters, 3D printers, CNC routers, and more.
