What's CITY Talking About?

🚍 PRT To Propose Bus Cuts + Fare Hikes
Pittsburgh Regional Transit is set to propose fare increases and widespread cuts to bus and light rail service. The agency's facing a possible $100 million deficit and says it needs more funding from the state. If approved by the board, this would be the largest service reduction in decades. [PublicSource]
- 🚋 PRT is meeting at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow to discuss the proposal. Register here to watch online or catch it in person on the 5th floor of the Heinz 57 Center Downtown.

👀 Look Out for Fake Gus + Yiayia’s Pages
Suspicious Facebook posts are claiming that the North Side ice ball cart is already open for the season. And even weirder, the posts say that Gus, the beloved former owner, will be there; Gus died last summer at 92. [KDKA]
