The new legislative session is underway, and lawmakers will consider a slew of changes to PA’s election process. Republicans plan to reintroduce bills that would end (or temporarily suspend) mail-in voting and ban satellite voting offices, while Democrats will push to create early voting and give counties more time to process mail ballots. 🚧 Online Safety Course for New Drivers

PennDOT and the PA Turnpike are trying to curb crashes by teaching new drivers how to navigate work zones. The 35-minute video course has a quiz at the end; passing isn’t a requirement to get a driver’s license, but you can earn a certificate. PA’s the second state to offer this type of course.
