🚷 Fetterman Co-Sponsors Deportation Bill
U.S. Sen. John Fetterman is one of only two Democrats who co-sponsored a Republican-led bill that would require federal authorities to detain undocumented immigrants accused of minor, nonviolent crimes and give state attorneys general more power over federal immigration policy. 👀 Allegheny County Gets A New Warden
Our local Jail Oversight Board approved Trevor Wingard as jail warden last night. He replaces Orlando Harper, who retired in 2023. Wingard formerly served as deputy secretary with the PA Department of Corrections and interim warden at the Allegheny County Jail. He also oversaw SCI Laurel Highlands, a facility for incarcerated people with disabilities and special care requirements. [90.5 WESA]

🏈 Steelers Playoffs Starts Saturday
