GPAC Reports Detail Racial Inequities

A pair of reports studying two decades worth of arts funding in Pittsburgh paints a bleak picture about whose work gets supported. The new edition focuses on 2018 through 2023, when local arts groups of color received about 16% of the total share of funding, up 2% from the 15 years prior. People of color make up about 23% of Allegheny County's total population. [90.5 WESA]

Netflix Profiles Unsolved Beaver Co. Mystery

A nearly decade-old cold case is getting national attention in the Netflix reboot of “Unsolved Mysteries.” Beaver County Crime Solvers is hoping the exposure will help solve the mystery of an unidentified severed head found in a field, and they’re offering a $5,000 reward for any additional info that could help solve the case.
