👀 The Bloomfield development might be back on

May 16, 2024 · — Adrian González

Good morning! This is City Cast editor (and proud owner of many Roberto Clemente Pirates jerseys) Adrian González pinch hitting for the next few days. There was a brief moment where I also considered a Paul Skenes jersey, but hype for the new pitcher seems to be quickly turning into slander thanks to the team’s reputation. Bus Driver Sues City After Bridge Collapse

Pittsburgh Regional Transit driver Daryl Luciani has filed a lawsuit against the city and three engineering firms for injuries he sustained when the Fern Hollow Bridge collapsed while he was driving across it in 2022. The lawsuit accuses the defendants of neglecting to fix long-standing infrastructure issues. Other drivers injured in the incident have also filed lawsuits. [TribLive]

The city approved plans for a grocery store and plaza, but developers said recently new housing is not likely to be included. [WTAE ▶️]
