What's CITY Talking About?
Low Ratings on Steelers’ Report Card
The NFL Players Association released its annual report card, and it's not looking too good for the Steelers, who rank 28th of the 32 teams. Here’s how the grading stacked up: "A" for Mike Tomlin, from his players; "C” for the weight room on the South Side; "D+" for the training room; "F” for owner Art Rooney II; and "F-” for the treatment of families.

Pittsburghers Call for a Ceasefire
In sync with demonstrators nationwide, hundreds gathered in Downtown over the weekend to demand a ceasefire in Gaza. Protesters also called on the Israeli military to stop operations in Rafah, the southern part of the Gaza Strip where displaced Palestinians have fled. Last week, Gaza's health ministry said that the number of Palestinians killed in the war has surpassed 30,000. [TribLIVE / NPR]

Can Monroeville Con Center Be Saved?
The DoubleTree by Hilton hotel next to the Monroeville Convention Center closed last week. The owner says it was bleeding money, and its value dropped after the closure of the convention center was announced. Local representatives are still trying to save the venue from becoming a Hobby Lobby, though, and Monroeville Mayor Nick Gresock says efforts have reached the highest levels of state government. Downtown Performing Arts Get a Boost
Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Pittsburgh Opera, Pittsburgh Public Theater, and Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra were each awarded $500,000 from the Richard King Mellon Foundation. Another $475,000 was given to the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust to study organizational decision-making, shared services, and Downtown real estate; Carnegie Mellon University got $215,000 to develop a strategic plan to attract artists. Where Is It?

Let’s play a game! Where was the photo above taken? 👀
🌟 Shoutout to Carla C. and Olga F. who correctly guessed the last “Where Is It?” challenge:

I was surprised that only two of you correctly identified this garlic 🧄 and tomato 🍅 mural outside of Penn Mac in the Strip. Then again, maybe you have your hands full with cheese and aren’t paying attention to the art at the exit. 😉🍝🧀
