What's CITY Talking About?
Brewers Guild Focuses on Inclusion & Diversity

No More Funky-Patterned Bus Seats?!
Something about Pittsburgh’s colorful, abstract bus seat prints are so nostalgic — and their designs will soon be relics, too. Pittsburgh Regional Transit is spending $1.3 million to replace its fabric-covered seats with plastic for more durability and cleanliness. [Pittsburgh Union Progress]

Priorities for Innamarato’s Transition Team
It’s been two weeks since Sara Innamorato became Allegheny County’s chief executive elect. Now, her incoming administration is recruiting new leaders through a talent committee, which they say will be the “most inclusive community engagement effort” in county history.
- 📣 Want your needs and priorities heard? Innamorato’s administration plans to launch an “All in Allegheny” committee to survey residents and host community events. [90.5 WESA]

Who’s Matt Canada & Why is Pgh Mad at Him?
Over the last couple months, one local name has become synonymous with failure — or at least culpability. What could he have done to inspire thousands of fans to chant “fire Matt Canada” at both Steelers and Penguins games, or prompt one enterprising Giant Eagle to sell cookie cakes with the same slogan? We get to know the man behind the on-field mess.
I’ll be back in your inbox tomorrow!
