Swifties Boost the Local Economy
Visit Pittsburgh says that Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” generated $46 million in direct spending on June 16 and 17. Fans from outside of the county spent about $42.9 million on hotels, restaurants, retail, transportation, and attractions; county residents spent $3.07 million. [VisitPITTSBURGH]
Training for Citizen Journalists
If you’re sharing community resources or briefs on council meetings, you’re already doing the work of a citizen journalist.
